Don Mackintosh – AARNet
Don started his career following completion of a Bachelor of Commerce degree, at University of QLD, as State Manager of a National transcription and legal technology company.
During this time prior to joining AARNet, Don worked in a variety of management, project management and consulting roles with a strong emphasis on business processes and new technology. Don led many high profile technical projects highlighted by the Federal Court of Australia analogue to digital upgrade and a consultancy around business process improvement with the NZ Ministry of Justice.
Don has had several roles at AARNet, including implementing a Video Conference service, consulting for Enterprise Services, Managing the AARNet Plus program and now is Customer Relations Manager for QLD and NT customers.
AARNet is a not-for-profit organisation whose shareholders are 38 Australian Universities and the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), which provides high speed telecommunications and Internet services to Research and Education organisations in Australia.
